The Yamazaki Single Malt Distiller's Reserve is aged in bordeaux wine and sherry casks, adding incredible depth and character. The nose is redolent of tart, sweet strawberries, a fragrant floral mix of incense and coconut. The palate is vivacious, with notes of red fruits and berries, opening up to apricots and nectarines, with a sweet, creamy finish of vanilla and spice. Truly mesmerising, this one. A real intriguing sipper.
