Amaretto Disaronno is as common as table salt in every Italian household. A sweet, velvety amaretto liqueur that has as many uses as the aforementioned salt. Best described as sweetly almond-flavoured, Amaretto actually comes from the pit of an apricot, to which is added the pure essence of 17 selected herbs and fruits.
